Liberty Teller Launches Second Bitcoin Kiosk in Boston
Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) March 17, 2014 -- After launching the first bitcoin kiosk in the United States at Boston’s South Station last month, Liberty Teller is adding a second kiosk installation. The machine will be placed in Harvard Square in partnership with Clover Food Labs.
Liberty Teller is expanding its operations due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback and strong interest from the public. Co-Founder Chris Yim explains, “In less than 3 weeks, over 500 customers have used our Liberty Teller bitcoin kiosk. Building off of the amazing community reception and volume we have seen from Boston’s South Station, we are expanding across the river to Cambridge. We have received many requests from the Harvard Square community and are pleased to announce the placement of our second machine with partner and food entrepreneur Ayr Muir of Clover Food Labs.”
Ayr Muir, CEO and Founder of Clover Food Labs details the partnership, "I was approached by Chris, a fellow MIT grad who loves Clover. He asked if we would help him out with a little experiment to see if a high-traffic fast food restaurant like ours would be a good site for one of the first bitcoin ATMs in the country. We're giving it a go and we're excited to see what happens."
