Community Partnerships, Academic Growth, Enrichment Programs Focus of 2014 Kindergarten Round-Up
Detroit, MI (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- Romulus Community Schools is now accepting Fall 2014 applications for all-day kindergarten at all four elementary school locations. Strong parent and community partnerships are developed when a student is enrolled at Romulus Community Schools. Monitored academic growth and extended daily enrichment programs encourage an environment where students excel. The annual Kindergarten Round-Up, an information and registration event, is scheduled for March 27 at Cory School of Learning, 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Registered children must be five years old before October 1, 2014 in order to qualify for enrollment. Enrollment is for any of the four elementary schools in the Romulus school district including Barth Elementary, Halecreek Elementary, Romulus Elementary and Wick Elementary. To enroll, bring your child’s birth certificate, health record, three proofs of residency and parent/guardian photo identification. Applications can be dropped off daily from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at one of the four elementary schools.
“Kindergarten is the start of your child’s educational journey to independence, which will lead to many adventures along the path to College and Career Readiness,” said Marjie McAnally, interim superintendent at Romulus Community Schools.
