Mainstream Technologies Hires Colby Francis
Little Rock, Arkansas (PRWEB) March 26, 2014 -- Mainstream Technologies is pleased to announce the hiring of Colby Francis as Support Technician. His responsibilities will include maintaining the Managed Services Help Desk. Additionally, he will serve as a proactive technician, monitoring servers and responding appropriately to possible errors and notifying proper parties to mitigate bigger problems or challenges that may occur.
Colby was most recently self-employed catering to small businesses repairing computers, managing servers, and maintaining IT systems, while completing his college course work. He has a degree from UALR in Systems Engineering with a focus on computers, and a minor in mathematics. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment to date is underwriting his entire college education with revenues from his small business enterprise.
Colby’s volunteer activities include home building in Pine Bluff for Central Arkansas Regional Industrial Development Company, a non-profit agency that serves low-income families. Hobbies include music, playing guitar and piano, and most recently engaged in pilot lessons.
According to Mark McClelland, VP of IT: “Colby’s excellent customer service skills and research proficiency have already proven to be valuable assets to our team and have made him a welcome voice to our clients. These contributions combined with his dependability and eagerness to expand his knowledge ensures his continued development as a highly skilled and personable engineer.”
