Stack the States from Freecloud Design, Inc. is now available for download to Intel® Atom™ tablets for Windows* 8.1. This interactive game keeps players engaged for hours as they learn about the 50 states.

In Stack the States, our country’s great states come to life. Players move the animated shapes anywhere on the screen in order to stack their shapes beyond the checkered line to win each level. Completing a level earns users randomly assigned states that appear on their personalized maps. As users get closer to earning all 50 states, they can unlock new and exciting bonus games including: Map It, Pile Up, Puzzler and Capital Drop.

Stack the States is an application that combines fun and learning for all ages. Users will discover interesting details about the states including their capitals, state shapes, nicknames, flags and more. With hundreds of unique questions, an interactive map and flash cards, anyone can learn more about the states that make up our great country.

Parents and educators can use this game with confidence. Unlike other apps, Stack the States takes the privacy of its users seriously. This application does not contain any third party ads or in-app purchases. The app does not integrate with any social network and there is no data collection.

The Intel® Developer Zone provided Freecloud Design with the opportunity to receive technical guidance and support during the game’s optimization for tablets with Intel® Atom™ processors.

“When we first began developing Stack the States, we knew we wanted it to be accessible to a wide audience of students, parents and teachers,” says Dan Russell-Pinson, President of Freecloud Design, Inc. “Optimizing it for tablets such as Intel Atom tablets for Windows 8.1* helps us meet that goal. The portability of these devices makes it possible for learning to continue in and out of the classroom.”
