Farm Credit of the Virginias' Knowledge Center Website Launch
Leesburg, VA (PRWEB) March 18, 2014 -- http://www.FarmCreditKnowledgeCenter.com becomes a “Network Agent” for all farmers.
Farm Credit of the Virginias announced today the launch of a new educational website called http://www.FarmCreditKnowledgeCenter.com. The site, a component of the newly created Knowledge Center is aimed to be a network agent for all types of farmers, including young, beginning, small, second profession and commercial producers.
The site is a wealth of information, including agriculture news, helpful links, an article repository, a calendar of events, market news and an “Ask the Expert” link to help find answers for specific questions. The Knowledge Center was created in 2013 as a means of facilitating and sharing knowledge and resources within the community for all farmers. This website is one component of the program aimed to help guide those interested in the agricultural industry.
Matt Lohr, director of the Knowledge Center said, “I am very excited to see the launch of our website and look forward to seeing it grow, both in information and interest among the farmers. Our goal is not to simply recreate ideas and knowledge, but to partner with our stakeholders to work in a collaborative spirit that better serves our industry.”
In addition to Lohr, Bette Brand and Kyley Clevenger also comprise the Knowledge Center team and have worked diligently to make the program a valued commodity for those working in agriculture. The long term goal of the center is to help inform, educate and serve those interested in farming. This website will be another way that Farm Credit of the Virginias is meeting its commitment of being a trusted partner for producers throughout its territory.
