We have the capability to create custom apps that can streamline business operations significantly, saving staff time and increasing efficiencies.

Knoxville, Tenn. (PRWEB) March 18, 2014

Ripley PR, a national B2B public relations agency, announced it has recently added app development services for its business-to-business clients in several industries including commercial construction, franchising, home services, manufacturing, and staffing. The agency offers a full range of strategic communication and marketing services including crisis management, media relations, and social media strategies to businesses nationwide.

“We’ve been working closely with our development partner to provide additional services for the B2B community for some time, and we now have several apps we can offer to businesses nationwide,” said Heather Ripley, founder and CEO of Ripley PR. “We also have the capability to create custom apps that can streamline business operations significantly, saving staff time and increasing efficiencies.”

Ripley’s U.S. app developer has created apps that can help businesses be a little “greener” too. By offering specialized apps that modernize and simplify traditional “forms” service staff must fill out and turn into home office staff to calculate hours and billing, Ripley PR offers an app that can virtually eliminate paper. By using smartphones and tablets to replace tedious forms, on-site workers can spend more time providing services rather than writing and documenting activities on paper. These “paperless forms” take the data and input it directly into the business’ system, effectively doing away with data entry by office staff.

Another app can transform old-fashioned dispatch operations, allowing service or on-site workers to communicate with dispatch via company-dedicated texting and email, reducing wasted time playing phone tag with the office. This app can also integrate asset, worker location tracking, and ETA to work sites, allowing dispatch to know exactly where a service provider is at any given moment through a simple and easy-to-manage dashboard.

“We’ve had dispatchers for both in-home care and service companies tell us how much more efficient and organized they’ve become since using the apps,” said Ripley. “The employees using the apps have also expressed their enthusiasm by noting how easy it is to track their hours and travel with automatic systems that do most of the work for them.”

One of the business apps was initially developed for a subsidiary of a top 30-FTSE 100 company, and is currently used by approximately 300 home service companies throughout the U.S. In addition to offering business apps for computers, smartphones and tablets, Ripley PR’s developers are already at work on Google Glass apps that will offer new ways to leverage the technology in a business environment.

Recently, Ripley PR added several international clients to its roster. For more information about Ripley PR and business app development, please call 865.977.1973 or visit the agency’s website at http://www.ripleypr.com.
