Mowers Direct launched Mower Madness - a three-week tournament to determine the best lawn mower brand in America.
The tournament starts with 64 lawn mower brands that were chosen and seeded based on the number of Google web searches for each brand.
"Computers are great at providing data, but the best brands have a personality of their own," said Jon Hoch, founder and president of Power Equipment Direct. "Ultimately, humans need to decide the best brand - not some machine."
Throughout Mower Madness, participants visit http://www.MowersDirect.com/MowerMadness to vote for the brands that they want to advance to the next round.
After five rounds of voting, the final two brands square off in a head-to-head competition to determine the 2014 Mower Madness Champion.
