One Nevada Credit Union Introduces Card Crazy Contest
Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- One Nevada Credit union is excited to announce their newest Card Crazy Contest. This unique debit and credit card usage contest will run April 1 through May 15, giving five lucky members with the most eligible debit or credit card transactions a chance to win free electronics.
Members with a credit union debit or credit card are automatically entered by simply using their card for everyday purchases including fast-food, groceries, gas, clothes or coffee. It all counts. The more times cardholders swipe and sign and choose “credit,” the more chances they’ll have to win. The top five members with the most transactions during the contest period will win free electronics. Entries are not based on spend amount, but rather the amount of times the card is used. PIN transactions do not qualify, so members with a debit card still need to choose “credit” and sign for the transaction.
The Five prizes include: First Place, iPad Air®, Second Place wins $500 Cash, third place, Playstation 4®, fourth place, GoPro HERO3+®, and fifth place wins a Kindle fire HDX®.
“We’re very excited about our card crazy contest and anticipate card usage will increase as it has in the past when we’ve done similar contests,” said Greg Barnes, Senior Vice President of Marketing. “We encourage members to use their cards rather than cash as it’s a safer way to shop, and since members need to make their every day purchases anyway, we came up with the contest as a way to encourage them to reach for their One Nevada card rather than cash. It’s a win-win for the credit union and our members.”
A Prize patrol team will also be out and about at local merchants rewarding members with $50 cash when they are spotted using their One Nevada credit or debit card. The team will visit different locations, so the credit union is encouraging members to visit their Facebook and Twitter pages for prize patrol spots and weekly random drawings.
