Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) April 01, 2014 -- Altec Products, Inc., a leader in enterprise document management and workflow solutions, announced today that they have joined the IAMCP-SoCal Chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) and is presenting at the April meeting in Irvine, CA. The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) represents Microsoft’s best of breed partners from around the globe. The organization was formed in 1994 and provides Microsoft Partners a voice into Microsoft programs, to the IT community at large and as a vehicle to facilitate mutual growth and business development among partners. As a non-profit organization, it is operated by an annually elected board of directors and is funded through membership fees and sponsor grants.
IAMCP has 38 chapters throughout the US. Through membership meetings, social networking events and website activity, the IAMCP - US chapters link members with each other and industry news from Microsoft. IAMCP chapter members can access networking capabilities and skill sets normally limited to only big name consultancies. Companies looking to expand their P2P networks in the Microsoft Partner eco-system are highly encouraged to join IAMCP by registering for their local chapters at iamcp-us.org. As the largest IAMCP chapter in the world, IAMCP-SoCal serves as a hub for partner networking through their monthly member meetings, networking events and annual golf tournament which will be held on October 14th this year at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club.
IAMCP-SoCal serves partners in Los Angeles, Orange County and surrounding areas. The group typically meets on the first Thursday of each month, alternating between the Microsoft Offices in Los Angeles and Irvine. Because Altec is a Sponsor of the April meeting, doc-link Sales Director Richard Simmons will be speaking on the topic “Understanding and Selling Integrated Document Management.” Says Simmons, “By sharing how current business challenges can be solved with document management, we hope to infuse Microsoft partners with new ideas to enhance their customers’ solutions by streamlining efficiencies to give a healthier bottom line.”
“We are incredibly pleased to have Altec as a new member of our organization,” said IAMCP-SoCal Chapter President Ro Kolakowski. “Altec is partner-focused and gives our members the ability to deepen relationships with their existing clients by being able to offer them document management capabilities.”
