Promotional push for Hungry Girl’s first-ever diet book to include national and local media appearances & product giveaways from major food brands in sync with Lillien’s new super-sized, super-delicious diet plan.

On March 25th, the first-ever diet book from guilt-free eating media superstar Lisa Lillien, a.k.a. “Hungry Girl” – THE HUNGRY GIRL DIET – will be released with Lillien kicking off a cross-country book tour to meet fans and introduce them to her new easy-to-follow, delicious, and satisfying diet plan. Recently spotlighted as one of the culinary stars in People magazine's “Celebrity Chefs” special feature, Lisa will be making many national media appearances, as well as regional ones to build buzz about the book and the tour. Each book-signing event is an interactive experience where fans meet Lisa, get free snacks, and enjoy other fun surprises.

Adding an extra dimension to the tour, Lillien has brought on board several partners – top food brands that are behind longtime Hungry Girl staples, including House Foods, Old London® Melba Toast, StarKist®, Quaker® Oats, and Vitalicious®. These brands were specifically chosen since they fit in perfectly with the breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack choices featured in the book’s jump-start diet plan. Attendees at each of the book tour events will leave with a special gift bag showcasing these brands’ products (as well as other goodies like Flatout® Flatbreads, Wonderful® Pistachios, and Quest Bars).

In addition, Lillien will create original recipes with the partners' products, all in alignment with THE HUNGRY GIRL DIET. These recipes will be developed to fit into the super-sized, super-delicious focus of the diet. They’ll be spotlighted in a special sponsored Hungry Girl email newsletter after THE HUNGRY GIRL DIET’s release date.
