Phase 1 of the 2014 Best Senior Living Awards will recognize the best resources, entities, people, and places relevant to caregivers, families and the senior living industry.
Nominations and voting are both open today and will run through April 14, 2014. Anyone may nominate a blog, website, newsletter or organization by emailing the nominee name and website link to awards(at)seniorhomes(dot)com, sending a Tweet to @SeniorHomes or posting to the SeniorHomes.com Facebook page.

The nomination period ends on April 14th, and voting to determine finalists continues through April 28th, when finalists will be determined based on popular vote. Finalists are judged by a panel of leading senior living experts based on standard, category-specific rating criteria, such as breadth and depth of content, author expertise, legislative advocacy, events and public awareness campaigns that benefit seniors or caregivers, and other considerations.
Public voting will continue during the judging phase and final votes tallied on May 12, 2014 in order to determine People’s Choice winners. Overall category winners are determined based on judges’ ratings. Both category winners and People’s Choice winners will be announced on May 19, 2014.
