Scorpion Press Announces Release of First Book In Its Fantasy Zodiac Fiction Series
MIDDLESEX, NJ (PRWEB) March 24, 2014 -- What if the zodiac signs were more than just constellations and myths? What if they were real characters? "Alex Murphy and the Golden Ram" answers that question in the first novel in the newest fantasy series, the Zodiacicals, by former journalist and Rutgers graduate Michelle Cerone.
The book follows the story of an extraordinarily, ordinary, but lonely 12-year-old girl, who finds herself on a journey to find Aries, the golden ram of Colchis. Along the way, she eats cock-a-trice eggs, meets the wicked Cetus, rides a sheepdrake and finds something she never had before—friends.
Cerone got the idea for the series in the most unusual of places—on an NJ Transit train, while commuting to her internship on Wall Street in 2012. Since then, she has been working tirelessly to perfect the novel. Prior to writing the book, Cerone interned at several media outlets including Forbes and TheStreet.com, while attending New York University for graduate school.
"Alex Murphy and the Golden Ram" will be available for pre-order on April 1. Cerone is available for interviews, media appearances or presentations. To book, please contact michelle.cerone(at)zodiacicals(dot)com.
