Growing RWL Water Announces: New Hire, Karim Nasr, Managing Director of Middle East, FZE, Dubai
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- Global water, wastewater and waste-to-energy solutions provider, RWL Water announces the addition of another key executive. Karim Nasr is appointed RWL Water’s Managing Director of Middle East, FZE, Dubai and joins the Company in March 2014.
Karim Nasr brings 25 years of extensive experience in water treatment and desalination. Since 2005, he has served GE Water & Process Technologies as Products & Systems P&L Manager in the Middle East and Africa. He successfully launched and established the GE Water equipment business in the Middle East and Africa. Nasr also worked with the global engineering team on improving upon existing products as well as designing new products suitable for each region.
Prior to joining GE Water & Technologies, Nasr built his water background at Siemens Water Technologies (formerly US Filter & Veolia) where he managed global EPC projects in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He built a reputation for executing turnkey water projects, including the design, engineering, procurement, sub-contracting, fabrication, assembly, installation and startup of municipal and industrial water treatment systems. Some major projects in Mr. Nasr’s portfolio include: Rijnmond Energy Center in Rotterdam, Holland; Prairie Island Nuclear plant in Wisconsin, USA; Hitachi Power in China; Con-Edison in New York, USA; and IBM in New York, USA.

He will work from the Company’s newly established sales office in Dubai, a central location for business in the Middle East.
