One of the most significant findings from the 2013 plastic surgery statistics showed it was the fourth consecutive year of growth. There were a reported 15.1 million cosmetic procedures, including minimally-invasive and surgical, performed in the United States last year. This figure was up 3% from 2012.
While the demand for plastic surgery remains strong, the trend shows that more Americans are electing for facial rejuvenation. The largest increase in procedures last year were seen with facelifts, forehead lifts, eyelid surgery, medical peels, and fillers. As new devices, products, and refined procedures continually become available, patients have more options than ever before.

Top 5 Minimally-Invasive Procedures:

Soft tissue fillers (2.2 million procedures, up 13%)
