Norman, Oklahoma (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Chickasaw Nation Industries (CNI) announced today that Robert Wood has been promoted to Chief Operations Officer (COO).
With deep experience in the commercial and government sectors, Mr. Wood will complement CNI’s existing executive team as the company focuses on continued growth in the federal contracting sector.
In his new role, Mr. Wood will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure companywide alignment with competitive strategies to enhance marketplace execution and service delivery to CNI’s federal customers.
“With over 30 years of commercial and government sector experience, Mr. Wood brings proven leadership skills, extensive operations expertise and a successful track record that will assist in the execution of the company’s strategy,” said David Nimmo, CEO and President of CNI. “We expect him to bring immediate leadership and focus to a variety of operational initiatives."
Mr. Wood previously served as Vice President of CNI’s Government Solutions practice, responsible for the marketing and delivery of information technology, service delivery transformation, and business process management. Mr. Wood has held leadership roles at industry-leading companies, including L-3, Booz Allen Hamilton and Apptis.
Mr. Wood supplements his professional experience with an AT in Computer Science, BS in Network Management, MS in IT Security, an Ed.D in Aviation & Space Science, and holds industry certifications in program management, project management, security, and enterprise systems design & development.
