R2i Speakers at March 28 Communications Conference
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- The Convergence in Communications Conference is a new event hosted by the Capitol Communicator focused on emerging trends and disruptive technologies in public relations and public affairs. The one-day event on March 28 in Arlington, VA targets PR, public affairs and communications executives and features 50 speakers from digital, marketing, communications and PR industries. Two of r2i’s senior directors will be part of the speaker line-up to share thought leadership on web and content analytics and digital trends and their impact on media and public relations.
The Convergence in Communications Conference will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Artisphere. Presentations are a mix of panel discussions and individual presentations and will cover a range of topics that blend marketing and communications and online and offline strategies and tactics.
Lindsay McGettigan, r2i’s Director of Marketing Strategy and Insights will join the panel, “Digital Trends and Their Impact” with participants from OgilvySocial, Carousel30 and Social Driver. She brings insight on multi-channel digital marketing and a focus on a strategic approach for executing digital tactics at each stage of the customer lifecycle journey.
R2i’s Director of Search, Kara Alcamo, will give a new presentation on measuring the effectiveness of a website through the lens of search, communications and public relations. Her focus on optimizing content, paid and organic efforts and the user experience will help communications professionals understand how to create and execute messaging campaigns tied to analytics.
Capitol Communicator is expecting more than 200 professionals from the regional PR, public affairs and media communities.
