WorldPride Welcomes Country Artists and Metis Story Tellers
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- WorldPride 2014 Toronto (WP14TO) announces Chely Wright, Juno nominated Amanda Rheaume, Mark Jacob and Steve Grand to join the lineup of performers at this year’s largest international LGBTQ festival. Steve Grand will perform at the opening ceremonies on June 20, 2014, along with Deborah Cox and Melissa Etheridge. Get ready for powerful vocals, driving rhythms and music that takes you on a journey, in Toronto from June 20 -29!
There is always a healthy helping of country, traditional, and folk music at Pride in Toronto, and WorldPride 2014 will continue to deliver. These artists join the previously announced line-up of crowd favorites including: Martha Wash, Hercules and Love Affair, Crystal Waters, Neon Hitch and international DJs David Morales, Quentin Harris.

WorldPride 2014 Toronto is an international celebration incorporating activism, education, and the history and culture of global LGBTTIQQ2SA* communities. Highlighting Canada’s continued progress in human rights, WP14TO also celebrates the diversity and dynamism of Toronto, one of the world’s most progressive and livable cities.
WorldPride 2014 will present musical genres from rock, pop, dance, hip hop, R&B, country, traditional, folk, retro, disco all live on 10 free-to-attend, all-ages, open-air stages across the festival footprint.
