mOasis augments technical expertise in ag water use
Union City, CA (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- mOasis (http://www.moasisgel.com), a leader in efficient water management technologies today announced it has named Bardia Dehghanmanshadi, M.S. as Product Development Representative. Dehghanmanshadi will have responsibility for product development and technical field support for mOasis’ proprietary line of Aquamers in the CA market.
Prior to joining mOasis, Bardia worked as a Systems Engineer at Bennett and Bennett Irrigation Systems designing irrigation systems for California growers. Prior to this role, Bardia was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for Irrigation Technology, California State University, Fresno. His responsibilities included numerous experiments involving fertility, water efficiency and water volume impacts on California crops. Bardia received his Masters of Science Degree in Plant Science from California State University, Fresno. He will continue to reside in Fresno, California.
Steve Hartmeier, CEO of mOasis, commented, “We are pleased that Bardia has joined us and look forward to him adding his talent to the team at mOasis. His recent hands-on experience in irrigation as well as in the efficient use of water in crop production will provide technical expertise and enable mOasis to continue to expand our offerings to the CA market."
The company also named Tony Beltran, Ph.D., to the position of Vice President of Global Business Development. The move reflects mOasis’ expansion into key agricultural regions beyond its California and Arizona base, into countries like Mexico, an important market opportunity for the company. Recent work with major growers and government officials in Baja shows solid progress, and the company expects full registration of the product in Mexico before mid-year.
Hartmeier added, “Tony’s deep experience in international agribusiness and his valuable relationships with growers are an important factor in our continued momentum in expanding the market for BountiGel. Coupling that with the impressive results we’re seeing on commercial tests in northern Mexico - - most recently with strawberries and tomatoes -- means that we are very well-positioned to capitalize on these great opportunities.”
