Shady Grove Fertility Hosts Two-Part Informational IVF Webcast Event
Rockville, MD (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- Take an in-depth look at in-vitro fertilization (IVF), one of the most successful infertility treatment options available today, during this two-night online event.
On Wednesday, March 19th, Shady Grove Fertility, the nation’s leading fertility center in the United States with over 30,000 babies born, will host a free online seminar about IVF treatment. This discussion will be led by Anitha S. Nair, M.D., a reproductive endocrinologist with Shady Grove Fertility in Washington, DC. In-vitro fertilization is commonly utilized to overcome infertility conditions such as tubal factors, male factor, age-related infertility, or when simpler treatments fail.
Dr. Anitha Nair will discuss the basic components of IVF treatment: ovulation induction, egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo culture, embryo transfer, as well as pregnancy success rates.
On Thursday, March 20th, join Shady Grove Fertility's IVF and Embryology Laboratory Director, Jim Graham, M.S., ELD, as he explains the role of the laboratory and embryologist in the IVF treatment process. Also discussed are the latest technological advancements which are improving pregnancy success rates, as well as insemination methods and embryo freezing technology. This discussion will address the common patient question, “What do they do in there?”
After each presentation, the presenters will host a live question and answer session with viewers.
