The firm of Tuggey Calvoz is pleased to announce local entrepreneur Tina Cannon has joined the team. Tuggey Calvoz expands current government affairs and corporate law practice to support start up and entrepreneur community

The firm of Tuggey Calvoz is pleased to announce local entrepreneur, Tina Cannon has joined the team.

Tina Cannon joins the law firm of Tuggey Calvoz LLP as the Director of Client Relations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cannon has spent several years as an entrepreneur and leader in the startup scene in Austin She was the founder of several startups, a guest columnist for CBSnews.com, past Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Texas State University’s RampCorp program, featured speaker and most recently, a Founding Partner at Napkin Venture.

“Tina brings a unique set of experiences to the table for our firm,“ says, Tim Tuggey, founding partner at Tuggey Calvoz. “She is the chief evangelist for our firm. Her background aligns perfectly with the corporate law, policy work, and entrepreneurial focus of Tuggey Calvoz.”

In addition, Ms. Cannon is active in local civic issues and is currently a candidate for the Austin City Council, District 10. Cannon served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce as well as a founding member of the Steering Committee for the nationally recognizes entrepreneur group, StartOUT Austin. Ms. Cannon has served as County Precinct Chair for precincts 349 and 339. Tina graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting.
