Both companies are counting the days until the beginning of the 2014-2015 season.

Jim and Rob Brooks (l,r) of the Phantoms join David Beedle, Bill Carmody & Drew Frantzen of First Generation at the Phantoms’ corporate headquarters in Allentown to finalize the marketing agreement.

“We are delighted to have First Generation as a member of our corporate family," said Rob Brooks, Co-Owner of the Phantoms.

First Generation is proud to announce a long-term marketing and services partnership with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. First Generation will design and develop the Phantoms’ American Hockey League (AHL) website for the start of the 2014-15 hockey season. Along with the website, FG will be the exclusive sponsor of the “Phantoms Penalty Kill” when the Phantoms take the ice this fall at the brand new PPL Center in Allentown, as well as several other marketing initiatives.

“We see this as something much more than a marketing opportunity and a showcase for our design and production expertise,” said Bill Carmody, CEO of First Generation. “This is an investment in Allentown and the entire Lehigh Valley region. We view the Phantoms and the PPL Center as the center of a rebirth for investment, prestige, and financial growth for many years to come. We’ve been proud to call Allentown our home for almost three decades, and we are overjoyed to share in the vision that the Phantoms have for the PPL Center and the Lehigh Valley.”

Rob Brooks, Co-Owner of the Phantoms added, “We are delighted to have First Generation as a member of our corporate family. It was important for us to find a company with the capabilities and tools to take on the development of our team’s website, and First Generation is the perfect fit. They are highly recognized and respected in the industry, proud to call the Lehigh Valley their home, and have supported the Phantoms and the PPL Center since the day we arrived.”

Before playing even one game in their new home in downtown Allentown, the Phantoms are one of the hottest tickets in the American Hockey League, and First Generation’s plans for the Phantoms’ website are just as exciting. The site is poised to be the most comprehensive and engaging site in the AHL.

Besides the sponsorship of the Penalty Kill, First Generation marketing initiatives will include scoreboard animations, TV and radio advertising, and premium visibility at PPL Center.
