"The Commerce World's Strongest Man" Returns to Commerce Hotel & Casino and Los Angeles for 2014 Competition
Commerce, Calif. (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- For the 37th production of the premier televised event in strength athletics, "The Commerce World's Strongest Man" 2014 competition will be held at Commerce Hotel $ Casino in Commerce, Calif., and at famous locations throughout Los Angeles.
The 2012 event was also held at Commerce Hotel & Casino, which was the title sponsor of the 2013 event in Sanya, China, before becoming both title sponsor and host in 2014.
Five qualifying events on Saturday, March 22, and Monday, March 24, and four final events on Saturday, March 29, will be contested at The Commerce Hotel & Casino. These three days are open to the public and admission is free.
Other competition open to the public and free of charge will be Tuesday, March 25 at Universal City Walk in Hollywood and Friday, March 28, at Venice Beach.
"The Commerce World’s Strongest Man" will be televised domestically on CBS Sports Network and internationally in over 100 countries and territories on five continents. The 2013 finals were televised by CBS as one of its major sports events on Super Bowl Sunday.
The series is produced by IMG Media, the production and distribution arm of IMG—the global sports, entertainment and media company.
American Brian Shaw is the defending champion and will be one of 30 competitors of international renown seeking the title in what is considered to be the world’s most important strength competition.

Previous host sites for show include Zambia, Iceland, Morocco, China, South Africa and various locations in the United States.
