The annual IPA Manager’s Conference on Medical Office Management features a presentation by Charleston CEO and serial entrepreneur, Herbert L. Drayton, III. Drayton’s presentation, titled “5 Inspirational Mantras to Build a Better Practice,” draws on his 20 years of experience and proven methods in building and managing successful medical practices.

The two day conference runs this Thursday and Friday, March 20th and 21st, at the Charleston Marriott on 170 Lockwood in downtown Charleston. The conference focuses on providing attendees the latest information, concepts and techniques in operating and growing their medical practices. OpsAssure is a web based checklist application created by Drayton and designed to help manage tasks, monitor audit and compliance driven projects, prepare for inspections and improve core operations. It can be used in healthcare, real estate, education, manufacturing and other markets. OpsAssure has processed more than 300,000 tasks during the past year.

StonzThrow is a brand new web based application created by Drayton that works by sending a text link to the customer’s cell phone number. The customer clicks the link and opens turn by turn directions right to the business’ door. The application was developed by Drayton after he recognized that front desk employees were answering several phone calls each week from lost clients trying to find their business.

He spent 15 years working in an integrated health care system where he held numerous positions from Painter's Helper to Director of IT Operations.
