Adventure Life Announces Last Season for North Pole Cruise
Missoula, Montana (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Adventure Life is offering travelers the opportunity to take part in the final season of the 50 Years of Victory expeditions to the North Pole. The ship’s operator recently decided that 2015 will mark the end of an era for North Pole expeditions. The 50 Years of Victory is the world’s most powerful nuclear icebreaker. Also, the ship is the first Arktika-class icebreaker to have a spoon-shaped bow, and is capable of breaking through ice up to 9.2 feet thick. This allows travel to remote locations, such as the North Pole.
The 50 Years of Victory is equipped with a helicopter and zodiacs for daily excursions giving travelers unique exploration opportunities. A hot air balloon ride is also an option on this expedition. Despite the isolated destination of the North Pole, travelers enjoy comforts such as chef-prepared meals, nicely appointed cabins with private facilities, open bar, gym, swimming pool, saunas, and passenger elevator. There is a clinic with a doctor onboard for passenger convenience, as well.
“It is with mixed emotion we announce the last season of this North Pole cruise,” said general manager Jonathan Brunger. “But we are excited to offer one more season of this once-in-a-lifetime experience for those travelers who have been postponing the expedition.”
The current passenger rates range from $24,995 to $40,995 per person on the departure dates of June 3, 15, & 26, 2015.
