Wethersfield, CT (PRWEB) March 20, 2014

For the second consecutive year, Qualidigm, the mission-driven national health care consulting company in Wethersfield, Conn., has been named the number one Best Place to Work in Connecticut as a small to mid-sized company.

The Best Places to Work program, created by the Hartford Business Journal, Best Companies Group, identifies and recognizes the top 35 Connecticut employers that best benefit the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. Qualidigm ranks first place out of 20 companies in the small to medium-sized company category, which represents companies with 15 to 199 employees. The Hartford Business Journal also recognized Qualidigm as the number one Best Place to Work in Connecticut in 2013 and a top-tier Best Place to Work in 2008.

"We are humbled and honored to be recognized as a Best Place to Work in Connecticut,” said Tim Elwell who was appointed Qualidigm President and CEO last April. “With the complexity introduced by the Obamacare legislation, we have launched a number of new products and services this year including Qualiance™, a cloud-based software service for home care agencies to manage compliance issues reliably, and our transformational practice service offerings that help physicians and other providers manage change in their offices. As a change management company, I am proud at how well our employees have met the challenges to help our clients. With a 30 year history of working as transformational change agents in healthcare, Qualidigm’s culture fosters teamwork, professional development, thought leadership and social innovation. I'm pleased and proud that our employees feel that Qualidigm is a great place to work," said Elwell.

Statewide companies entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Connecticut, analyzed the data and determined the final rankings.

The Hartford Business Journal honored the top companies at an awards ceremony held at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford, March 20, 2014. Learn more about the Best Places to Work.
