UTi Worldwide Adds Global Director for Projects, Mining & Energy
Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) March 21, 2014 -- UTi Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: UTIW), a global supply chain services and solutions company, promoted Chris Osborne to a new global director position to focus on growth in its Projects, Mining and Energy (PME) vertical market.
"Chris has over 20 years of experience in ocean transportation and most recently supported PME in the Americas, creating client-specific air and ocean solutions for UTi's key Projects customers," said Bruce Hulings, global vice president, Projects, Mining and Energy, "Now his role will extend to the entire global organization."
Osborne will take on the additional role of managing the Global Ocean Desk to align carrier relationships in support of UTi's ocean project work, according to Hulings. He will be relocating to Houston, Texas USA.
Osborne has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Strayer University in Alexandria, Virginia and a Master’s of Business Administration in Transportation and Business Logistics from Wilmington University in New Castle, Delaware.
