Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) March 20, 2014
Momentum Telecom, a hosted VoIP and cloud communications provider, will host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new office location this coming Monday.
Local city officials and the Honorable Mayor William A. Bell, Sr. are expected to attend and will join employees in celebrating the company’s recent move to the Trinity Medical Center campus. The ribbon cutting is set to take place at the 880 building at 10 a.m. Monday. A reception and tours of the new facility will immediately follow the ceremony.
“Being in close proximity to the city’s downtown business district has presented us an opportunity to help serve local businesses. Momentum is committed to providing high quality and reliable phone service to the Birmingham community, and we are honored to play a part in the city’s continued commercial development,” said Momentum CEO Bill Fox.
Momentum relocated corporate headquarters from Shelby County to the company’s current office space in December 2013. As the first major tenant on the hospital’s campus, Momentum is expected to be a catalyst for future redevelopment to the area after Trinity vacates the Montclair Road site and moves to Grandview Medical Center on U.S. 280 in 2016.
Founded in 2001, Momentum offers residential and business voice over IP services to direct subscribers and resellers nationwide. Earlier this month, the company finalized a merger with IBBS, a step that makes Momentum the leader in the wholesale VoIP market.
