Spring usually conjures up images of flowers, bird songs and greening grass. Well not so much this year with Winter weather hanging tough in the mountains.
The Georgian Lakeside Resort in Lake George has some exciting Spring packages for skiing, snowboarding and whitewater rafting on the Upper Hudson River. Nearby Gore Mt. has plenty of terrain open for all abilities of skiers and snowboarders and they anticipate operating well into April. Easter Sunday is April 20th and the Georgian Resort will once again host the annual Easter Sunday Brunch in The Terrace Room overlooking Lake George. More Spring events in the Lake George area include Thurman Maple Days, three weekends in March with tours of six different area sugar houses. The Upstate Boat Show will be coming to the Dome in Queensbury for two weekends: Friday thru Sunday, March 28-30 and April 4-6.
