The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) announces the addition of a National Security Workshop to the GEOINT 2013* Symposium agenda. The workshop will be held Tuesday, April 15, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel.
The National Security Workshop will outline how GEOINT enables critical infrastructure protection and shared situational awareness for multi-agency national security missions, including how government, first responders, and the private sector can benefit from geospatial applications.
The workshop agenda (subject to change) includes a wide variety of prominent figures from the public safety and national security communities:
Attendees must be registered for the GEOINT Symposium and RSVP to attend this workshop. There is no additional cost to attend the workshop for those with Full Symposium registration or a One-Day Expo-Only Pass for Tuesday, April 15. The workshop and all additional GEOINT 2013* Symposium events are free for government personnel, active duty military, police, fire, and first responders.
