Donating one dollar from every hosting plan we sell over 24 hours will be a win-win, both for the communities the Red Cross helps in a disaster and our customers who will be able to purchase hosting at 50% off the regular price.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) March 21, 2014

HostGator, a member of the Endurance International Group (NASDAQ:EIGI) and an international provider of cloud-based web presence solutions, is seeing red during American Red Cross Month, announcing a one-day sale to raise funds for the charity on Tuesday, March 25.

HostGator’s General Manager, Adam Farrar, says HostGator will donate one dollar from every hosting plan sold on the last Tuesday of this month, which is recognized nationally as Red Cross Month. Farrar says the proceeds from the one-day sale will be in addition to the company’s $160,000 sponsorship of the Red Cross’ annual Tour du Rouge ride in May.

“In addition to our annual Tour du Rouge donation, we are excited to bring further awareness to the Red Cross mission. We have enjoyed working with the Red Cross for the last 5 years, seeing our donations make a difference in people’s lives,” Farrar said.

According to Chief Executive Officer, Texas Gulf Coast Region, American Red Cross, Steve Vetrano, HostGator has been a valued partner of the American Red Cross for a number of years. “We are thankful for their generous support of the Tour du Rouge ride and their efforts to raise awareness and additional funds to support our mission through this offer. We especially appreciate their support as we pay tribute to our volunteers and those we serve during Red Cross Month,” said Vetrano.

HostGator’s Farrar added, “Donating one dollar from every hosting plan we sell over 24 hours will be a win-win, both for the communities the Red Cross helps in a disaster and our customers who will be able to purchase hosting at 50% off the regular price,” he said.
