RMACT Sponsors March of Dimes 2014 “March for Babies” in Danbury, CT
Danbury, CT (PRWEB) April 10, 2014 -- Reproductive Medicine Associates of Connecticut (RMACT) is affirming its goal of healthy pregnancies by sponsoring the March of Dimes and its annual fundraiser, “March for Babies” for the fifth consecutive year. Along with its sponsorship and overall fundraising efforts, the RMACT Team will show solidarity for healthy babies by walking in Danbury, CT on May 4.
“The March of Dimes does important work to promote healthy pregnancies through education and research,” says Dr. Joshua M. Hurwitz, a fertility specialist and partner at RMACT. “We support this not only through our annual sponsorship of the March for Babies, but also through our daily clinical work with each of our fertility patients. We encourage our patients to improve their overall health, including stress reduction, moderate exercise and eating balanced, nutritious foods to improve the likelihood of achieving a healthy pregnancy.”
Beyond medical care, RMACT supports patients with many tools to improve their health, including nutrition counseling, mind-body coaching, Fertile Yoga classes, acupuncture and support groups all within the RMACT offices in Norwalk, Stamford, Danbury and Trumbull. Many of these services and educational workshops, which are part of RMACT’s Integrated Fertility and Wellness Program, are free or covered by insurance.
“We are proud to once again include RMACT among our March for Babies sponsors and partners. We both share the same mission vision – to provide all moms a healthy and full-term pregnancy and a strong, healthy baby. We thank them for their commitment to our cause,” said Deb Fafard, State Director, March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter.
