OpenView Venture Partners, an expansion-stage venture capital firm focused on providing its technology companies with deep operational support, shared today information about a marketing workshop it hosted for open data solutions provider Socrata. The details of the workshop are captured in a new case study entitled, “Going Off-Site to Gain Critical Marketing Focus and Insight.”
The three-day workshop held in Boston was designed to assess Socrata’s 2014 marketing objectives; analyze those goals to make sure they were focused, organized, and aligned with the company’s marketing activities; and prioritize initiatives in a way that would allow Socrata’s marketing team to maximize its impact. Socrata’s seven-member marketing team came from Seattle to attend the event.
