Everest Wealth Management Makes Local Wishes Come True through Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic
Towson, MD (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- 5-year-old Jenna and her family received the royal treatment last Friday at her send-off party at the offices of Everest Wealth Management, Inc. Jenna was greeted by three of her favorite Disney Princesses and was immediately given a Cinderella gown to change into for the festivities. Princess Jenna then spent the afternoon playing games, making bracelets, and rubbing elbows with Mickey Mouse himself.
Jenna and her Family leave later this month for a week at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. They will stay at Give Kids the World Village, a 70-acre non-profit resort that is a giant playground for kids with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Jenna and her family will be leaving home with tickets to the theme parks and extra money for meals and souvenirs.
Everest Wealth Management, Inc. donates $15,000 a year, the cost of two wishes, to Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic. This is the second Send-Off Party that they have held in their offices, and they value being able to make the Make-A-Wish experience even more special for the families involved.
“We look at the Send-Off Parties as a way to get to know the families and get them excited for their upcoming trip,” said Everest President Philip Rousseaux. “We like to pull out all the stops so that the families know that there are people rooting for them close to home. I think that Jenna was thrilled that Mickey Mouse and the Disney Princesses came all the way to Baltimore to meet her prior to her actual trip.”
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic serves children who reside in Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
