Winner Announced for Security Life Insurance Company of America’s Facebook Contest for a Trip to Walt Disney World®
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Minneapolis, MN—Security Life Insurance Company of America ran a month long contest to launch their new Facebook page. Anyone that liked the page was invited to enter the contest for a chance to win a five day/four night grand prize trip for four to Walt Disney World® in Orlando, FL. With nearly 1,000 entries, 10 finalists were established by a panel of judges and then voted on by the public. Following the two-week public voting period, the winner was determined by the photo entry with the most votes.
Amanda Manning of Prior Lake, MN was chosen as the winner with over 1,650 votes on her photo entry of her daughter, Eloise.
“I got off the phone and started crying. I walked out of my office and everyone in the hallway started clapping. It was amazing!” says Amanda, overjoyed upon hearing the news that she had won.
Amanda and Scott, a military family, will plan their trip to Walt Disney World before Scott’s next departure, bringing their daughter Eloise and their niece, both of whom have never been to Walt Disney World. Amanda remains grateful for all who voted for her. “I couldn’t believe how much our friends would pull through for us,” says Amanda. “They’re always rooting for us.”
