Castlewood Treatment Center Announces New Outpatient Services
St Louis, MO (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- With only 1 in 10 people with an eating disorder seeking treatment, Castlewood Treatment Center is pleased to announce the addition of new, flexible outpatient services at its Fenton, Missouri location. Castlewood will now offer an eating disorder support group for families, a client support group and individual and family therapy sessions beginning later this month. The groups are open to the public, and anyone may attend that is struggling with an eating disorder or has a loved one struggling with an eating disorder.
“An estimated 30 million Americans will suffer from an eating disorder at some point in their life, but most still aren’t seeking treatment,” said Nancy Albus, CEO of Castlewood Treatment Center. “It’s our hope that these new outpatient services will help more people get the help they so desperately need at an affordable price and a time that is convenient to their schedules.”
The eating disorder support groups for families will be offered on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm beginning on April 23, 2014. The cost for the family support group is $10 per family for each group session.
The client eating disorder support group will meet the first and third Wednesday of every month from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm beginning April 16, 2014. The cost for the client support group is $15 per individual for each group session.
Castlewood will also provide individual and family therapy sessions at the outpatient services office starting in April. The cost is $75 for marital/family therapy and $70 for individual therapy.
“Castlewood is always looking for a way to individualize treatment and be a family friendly resource,” said Susan Wolfe, therapist at Castlewood Treatment Center who will be facilitating all outpatient services. “I am excited about this opportunity to provide comprehensive services to the St. Louis community.”
