Connor Sport Court International 2014 Final Four Floor Tour on the Road to North Texas
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Connor Sport Court International (CSCI) is excited to again join the NCAA® in celebrating March Madness® by hosting the annual Final Four® Floor Tour March 24-28.
CSCI, the Official Court Builder of the NCAA Final Four®, will transport the Men’s Final Four game floor from their finishing partner United Services Inc. in Idaho Falls, ID to the AT&T Center in Dallas over a five-day period, while making fun-filled fan tour stops at different locations along the way. Each tour stop will feature entertainment basketball-themed activities for fans including a photo opportunity with a replica of the Final Four center court, basketball trivia and shooting contests and more.
This year marks the ninth year that CSCI has built the floors for the NCAA Final Four® Tournament and the sixth Final Four® Floor Tour.

The 2014 Floor Tour is scheduled to make the following stops (all times are local time):
CSCI headquarters, Salt Lake City -Monday, March 24th 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Klyde Warren Park, Dallas – Wednesday, March 26th – Noon to 2 p.m.
Integrated Athletic Development, Carrollton, TX -Wednesday, March, 26th-3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Stockyard Stations, Fort Worth, TX -Thursday,-- March 27th – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Texas Christian (TCU) Fort Worth, TX -Thursday, March 27th –2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Arrival : AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX - Friday, March 28th 8 a.m.
Connor Sports will also supply the court for the 2014 Women’s Final Four® on April 6-8 in Nashville, and built, maintained or installed courts for the following 2014 conference tournaments: BIG TEN; SUMMIT; WAC; SEC;*-BIG EAST;*-PAC 12;* MAC; MWC; BIG 12 and the AAC. CSCI manufactures QuickLock® portable floors annually for installation at both the Men’s and Women’s Regionals and Final Four® tournament venues each year. Additionally, the NCAA uses nine Connor QuickLock Courts that are used for the 2nd and 3rd rounds of Tournament play that Connor services and installs annually.
The NCAA Final Four® courts for both men and women are manufactured from the best premium hard MFMA Maple. Prior to the Final Four ® tournament, the floor is manufactured and inspected at the CSCI plant in Amasa, MI. The floor panels are stacked, banded, and then loaded onto a trailer where it is sent to CSCI’s finishing partner, United Services Inc. in Idaho Falls, ID. The floor is then assembled, sanded, sealed and painted before being loaded for the tour and finally delivered to AT&T Stadium.
