Lets Collaborate CC, a Microsoft SharePoint training & consulting business and Complexus Pty Ltd a SharePoint solutions business, join forces to offer market leading training & consulting solutions to a growing client base in Africa.

“We have developed an industry leading consulting methodology and the way in which we approach client engagements and training assignments aligns well with the materials and approach advocated by Lets Collaborate."

Since launch in early 2012, Complexus has grown to become an established SharePoint collaboration & Enterprise Information Management (EIM) solutions provider with a reputation for innovation in the Southern African SharePoint market. The acquisition of Lets Collaborate, founded by South Africa’s leading Microsoft SharePoint evangelist, Veronique Palmer, will be effective 2nd April and will see both companies centralize their training & development HQ in Bryanston, Johannesburg, South Africa.

“After a year that saw several industry firsts, including becoming the first SAP EBM Partner to work with the SharePoint SAP integration suite, Duet Enterprise, Complexus identified Lets Collaborate as a company that would accelerate its ambitions to strengthen its existing training and consulting offerings in 2014 & beyond”, said Nick Bradshaw, Co-founder of Complexus. Bradshaw explained, “We have developed an industry leading consulting methodology and the way in which we approach client engagements and training assignments aligns well with the materials and approach advocated by Lets Collaborate. It made perfect sense to execute this acquisition and take our offerings to the next level”. Bradshaw concluded, “We have also started to work on fundamentally changing the SharePoint skills landscape in South Africa and Lets Collaborate will play a major role in that transformation as we create the future SharePoint heroes of tomorrow”

Veronique Palmer, CEO & Founder of Lets Collaborate and long term Microsoft Valued Professional (MVP) said, “Complexus has a superior strategy and expert technical skills in the SharePoint industry and we felt that our training and consulting offerings aligned well with the way Complexus wants to engage and help clients do more with SharePoint. They also understand the bigger picture and align to our way of thinking when rolling out SharePoint for Enterprise scale deployments”. Palmer concluded, “They understand the critical need for strategy and change management as an integral part towards client success with SharePoint. They know, it’s more about people and processes and less about the technology and software and that clients need to
consider collaboration and associated business capabilities built on SharePoint as a continuous maturity journey. We now look forward to delivering our combined offerings to the market and ensuring that our clients continue to enjoy the high standards of service both companies always aspire to.”

Fellow Director, Marc Lenferna who heads up Consulting Solutions for Complexus, said, “We continue to grow the business to help the African Enterprise do more with the SharePoint platform and training sits at the heart of this. This is why the acquisition of Lets Collaborate made such perfect sense. We always plan to bring on the best of breed at Complexus and in Veronique, who happens to be the only female SharePoint Business Community MVP in Africa, we found just that”. Lenferna concluded, “Lets Collaborate have crafted unique end user training and adoption strategies, ensuring smooth and successful implementations with the end user in mind. Their long term success and the ability to use standard or bespoke training materials for clients is yet another reason why we brought the team onboard. We are working on some great new service, training and change initiatives and will be announcing more on that at Share Conference June 2014 18th June 2014, but for now the focus remains the same, help our clients and partners make technology work for the Enterprise in the short, medium and long term, and never forget that people skills and training sit at the heart of what we all do to make SharePoint work”.
