Ania Rodriguez, CEO and founder of Key Lime Interactive, will describe KLI’s methods for building and maintaining efficient behavioral personas. Additional perspectives on business uses will be provided by The Coca-Cola Company’s user experience manager, Sally Cohen; Edmunds.com’s senior director of user experience research, Carol Rossi; and the marketing director of Integrated DNA Technologies, Fitzgerald Steele Jr. Moderating the panel on best practices will be KLI’s senior vice president, Jennifer Knodler.

The webinar, “Building and Maintaining Efficient Behavioral Personas,” also will show how traditional segmentation and behavioral personas can complement each other. Traditional personas attempt to humanize the user audience and place users into segments. This focus on the person (work, motivators, emotional drivers, etc.) has helped businesses to develop empathy with key audiences and heightened attention to satisfying their personal needs. However, behavioral personas go deeper and provide insights into typical behaviors and contexts for the use of your specific product.

Rodriguez will delve into the anatomy of KLI’s persona deliverables and explain their use. Avatars with cohesive, meaningful identities are paired with use cases or scenarios that help product teams make relevant and appropriate design decisions. Uses can be found in virtually all departments of a company when they need to identify or validate how decisions influence or accommodate their customer base.
