Eliassen Group Names Gregory A. Netland to its Board Of Directors
Wakefield, MA (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Eliassen Group, a leading provider of technology staffing and consulting services in the country, has appointed Gregory A. Netland to its board of directors, effective immediately.
"Greg's vast knowledge and experience in the technology staffing and consulting industry will help us chart the course we need to increase our market share and grow in all of the markets we serve across the nation," said Eliassen Group CEO Dave MacKeen Jr. "We are excited he has decided to become a member of our board."
Mr. Netland has over 25 years of staffing industry experience. He began his career at Sapphire Technologies in 1987, and helped to transform a small IT staffing firm with one office into a national IT staffing company with 40 offices across the United States.
In 1999 Mr. Netland played a key role in integrating Sapphire Technologies' operations with Vedior, following Vedior's acquisition of the company. His work as the leader for business development and as the head of the corporate support center led to him being named Vedior North America's Chief Operating Officer in 2002. In 2003 he was named the company's Chief Executive Officer. As CEO, Mr. Netland set a strategy that enabled the company to double the size of its North American business and achieve over a billion dollars in revenue.
Mr. Netland joined the board of Vedior in 2007, and subsequently was appointed to the board of Randstad Holding NV, following its acquisition of Vedior in 2008. At Randstad, Mr. Netland was responsible for all operations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from May 2008 through April of 2012. During that time his decision making allowed Randstad North America to double in size by 2010.
In 2011, Mr. Netland led the successful acquisition of SFN Group, which, combined with Randstad NA, became the 3rd largest employment services company in North America with revenues in excess of $4 billion.
“Greg has a wealth of knowledge and record of success in our industry on a scale that few can match,” said Eliassen Group President Mark Biscoe. “We are excited to learn from him and hear what he has to say about the ways in which we can improve our offerings and delivery strategies for our valued partners. “
Mr. Netland received his BA in Economics with a minor in math from Bowdoin College in 1984.
