Two Upsets in First Round of Mower Madness Presented by Mowers Direct
Bolingbrook, Illinois (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Two of the top seeds in the first annual Mower Madness Tournament were mowed over by the competition yesterday.
No. 14 Black & Decker advanced to the second round with a 51-49 last second win over No. 3 Exmark. No. 10 Billy Goat also defeated No. 7 Wright by 62-38.
“Just because you’re a top seed, doesn’t guarantee you’ll germinate to the next round,” said Jose Castellanos, lawn mower expert at MowersDirect.com.
The Mower Madness Tournament uses bracketology to determine the best lawn mower brand in the land. All four top seeds – Toro, Snapper, John Deere and Bad Boy – easily cruised to victory in the first round of voting.
