Etymotic Research to Offer Hi-Fidelity Hearing Protection at Major East Coast Concerts
Elk Grove Village, IL (PRWEB) March 24, 2014 -- Etymotic Research, a leader in hearing health technology, announced its sponsorship of three East Coast concert venues this spring and summer where the company’s ETY•Plugs® will be sold. Beginning this May and throughout the 2014 concert seasons, ETY•Plugs will be available at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York, The PNC Arts Center in Holmdel, New Jersey and the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts. ETY•Plugs are the world’s highest fidelity non-custom earplugs. They reduce most loud sounds to safe levels while preserving the clarity of speech and the richness of music.
“ETY•Plugs filter sound to protect listeners’ ears, allowing them to hear better. They don’t block or distort live music the way foam earplugs can,” said Etymotic’s Director of Audiology, Dr. Gail Gudmundsen. “Wearing ETY•Plugs actually improves the concert experience.”
“It’s a perfect fit,” said Gudmundsen. “We’re looking forward to providing an option for those who want to listen to live music at lower sound levels without missing a show’s excitement.”
A campaign to create awareness for ETY•Plugs availability at these concerts will begin when consumers buy tickets and continue on site through video displays, posters and promotions.
