U.S. and Canadian Updates
In the U.S. and Canada, there were numerous tax, legal and regulatory updates required by the Internal Revenue Service, Revenu Québec and various state, local and provincial agencies.
For clients in the U.S., Rimini Street delivered tax, legal, and regulatory updates at the federal, state and local levels. At the U.S. federal and state government levels, Rimini Street provided updates for withholding tax rate changes, new standard deduction and allowance amounts, Federal Unemployment Tax Act (FUTA) adjustments, taxable gross definition updates and garnishment rule changes for tax jurisdictions across the country.
At the U.S. state, local and territory government levels, Rimini Street provided dozens of updates for municipalities in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In addition, quarterly and annual reporting changes, such as support for W-2c forms and Schedule A of form 940, were included. Rimini Street also provided several updates to tax tables and taxable gross definition tables for the U.S. territories of American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
For clients in Canada, Rimini Street delivered updates to Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) limits for the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island, as well as the territory of Yukon. Final changes were also delivered for annual reporting and electronic filing to enable clients to successfully complete 2013 Canadian year-end processing.

In Brazil, Rimini Street is delivering updates related to the NT 2013.005 Brazilian Electronic Invoice (NF-e Model 55) layout, validation and migration version 3.10, and also SPED Social. In Mexico, the Company delivered 2014 start of year payroll tax changes for the federal government and various states, as well as 2014 minimum wage changes for various states. For companies in New Zealand, Rimini Street developed critical start of year changes, including changes to Earners Levy Rate and Threshold calculations. In Spain, Rimini Street delivered localization tax and regulatory updates for Modelo 340. In the UK, SAP clients received two major updates related to the new tax year. These updates included changes related to Real Time Information (RTI), statutory rates, National Insurance (NI), as well as updates to various forms.
