Seven CPAmerica Firms Recognized as Regional Leaders and Three Recognized as National Leaders in Accounting Today’s Top 100
Gainesville, Fla. (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- Accounting Today named several CPAmerica International member firms as national and regional leaders in their Top 100 listing in March. All three firms featured in the Top 100 moved up in the rankings and four firms saw revenue growth of more than 10 percent.

Frazier & Deeter, headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., moved up seven spots to rank 62 in the Top 100. Frazier & Deeter, also a leader in the Southeast region, saw revenue growth of more than 20 percent in the past year, making the firm the 10th fastest growing among the Top 100 firms for the second year in a row. The firm added outsourced fund administration services and launched a technology platform for managing entrepreneurial communities.
Honkamp Krueger & Co. P.C., headquartered in Dubuque, Iowa, moved up nine spots to rank 74 in the Top 100. Honkamp, also a leader in the Midwest region, saw revenue growth of more than 16 percent in the past year. In the past year, they merged in Madison, Wis.-based The Bremser Group and opened practice in Davenport, Iowa. They also added medical practice consulting and talent outsourcing to their services list.
AKT CPAs and Business Consulting, headquartered in Salem, Ore., moved up five spots to rank 86 in the Top 100. AKT, a regional leader in the West region, saw revenue growth of more than 10 percent in the past year. The firm also acquired a firm with a dental professional practice in 2013.
Beyond the Top 100 – Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman was named a Firm to Watch by Accounting Today. Headquartered in Bethesda, Md., the firm was also recognized as a regional leader in the Capital region.
Maxwell Locke & Ritter, headquartered in Austin, Texas, was recognized as a regional leader in the Southwest region and saw revenue growth of almost 10 percent.
In the New England region, firms Gray, Gray & Gray, from Westwood, Mass., and Meyers Brothers Kalicka, Holyoke, Mass., were both recognized as regional leaders.
