Mid-Minnesota FCU, with $252 million in assets and over 37,000 members, began an evaluation of its existing technology and operational practices in 2012 in an effort to create efficiency, cut costs, and better serve members. It was during this time that the credit union began a process to establishing a virtual branch, allowing members to conduct the same in-branch transactions from any location at any time.
