Advanced Systems Group (ASG), the Denver-based IT consulting, integration, and project management firm, today announces that it has hired Michael Calderon as a member of the sales and technical team in its Seattle, WA office.
Executive vice president, John Murphy, explains, “Customers today are looking for secure, multi-tenant IT infrastructures, and Mike’s vast knowledge encompasses successful cloud strategies, holistic virtualization technologies, and state-of-the-art orchestration management. I feel confident that Mike will be a great source of knowledge and advice for our clients.”
Mike Calderon joins Advanced Systems Group as a solutions architect. In this role, Mr. Calderon will help clients build out private clouds, implement unified computing solutions, and execute sophisticated orchestration strategies. Previously, Mr. Calderon served as a senior instructor at Firefly Communication where he provided training and guidance on various cloud computing solutions, IT Infrastructures, and virtualization technologies.
Kent Kellough, the Western region vice president of sales, confirms, “My team and I first encountered Mike when he was leading a training session on the FlexPod solution, so we’ve seen first-hand his expertise with the Cisco Unified Computing System, NetApp storage, VMware virtualization, and orchestration strategies. With this background, Mike has the unique ability to help clients visualize what their unified computing environments might look like, which will be useful as more companies start transitioning into true software-defined enterprises.”
Murphy adds, “We’re seeing an increasing demand for complex IT architecture and design services across all our territories. By adding Mike to our growing team in Seattle, we’re continuing to invest in the marketplace and leading the way with top IT talent to support our clients throughout the entire Northwest region.”
