Miami, Florida (PRWEB) March 25, 2014
Newly opened Sirona Fine Art and international entrepreneur Frank Stronach are delighted to announce the American debut of renowned and celebrated Austrian artist Voka on Friday, March 28th. The solo exhibition, already experienced by thousands all around Europe, will showcase to fans the artist’s energetically charged paintings drenched in intense and unexpected colors.
“It is my pleasure to welcome Voka at Sirona Fine Art Gallery in South Florida for his first large exhibition in America,” Frank Stronach, Sirona Fine Art and Gulfstream Park owner. “As an avid collector of Voka’s artwork, I am delighted to debut him in the U.S., and I am certain that the public will be as happy as I was when they see Voka’s art.”
The Austrian artist Voka coined the term Spontaneous Realism to describe the dynamic creative process of his representational paintings. The explosive colors and energetic brushwork in his paintings describe familiar images in an utterly personal manner. Voka’s hyper-kinetic style and joyous optimism predominate all of his works whether presenting a street scene in Vienna, New York, Miami, or an iconic portrait of Marilyn, Hendrix, Chaplin or Picasso.
“I am ever in search of the perfect painting but always hoping not to find it, because it is the search I love so much,” Voka, internationally renowned artist. “Every painting is an impulsive challenge that starts with a first idea and ends with the final brush stroke, and each brush stroke decides over victory or defeat.”
Voka’s career began with the study of the old masters, working in traditional, classical oil painting techniques. This gave him the skills and knowledge to create these monumentally sized acrylic works full of improvisational strokes, dabs, blocks and jabs. The overall feeling is like a flurry of notes in a guitar solo that never lose touch of the melody.
Spontaneous Realism by Voka will be on view at Sirona Fine Art in Gulfstream Park, from March 28th through April 24th. The exhibition will continue from the gallery on to a show in Paris and an exhibition in Los Angeles hosted by the McCartney Group.

Voka, born in 1965, lives and works in the Lower Austrian town of Puchberg am Schneeberg. He coined the term "Spontaneous Realism" as a trademark for his art. Voka defines this style as a revival of the significance of contemporary art, a valued tradition in a new era, with a new interpretation reflecting today´s spirit of the time. His distinctive style, emerging from the dynamic of the moment, enables him to strikingly capture immediate reality while the observer is able to palpably feel the imbedded movement.
