Even though many brick-and-mortar bookstores are closing down, people are not reading less. In fact, people are now using eBooks, which are much handier, cheaper and easier to maintain than printed books. eBooks are no longer a small industry: both big publishers and indie writers sell millions of copies of e-versions of their books.
As eBooks grow in popularity, many great eBook authoring tools are being released into the market. These tools are capable of helping anyone become published authors. Unfortunately, most of these tools are just simple text editors with image insertion features. Producing an outstanding, well-made eBook like the ones made by major publishers does not seem realistic with the current, available software.
SJ Namo, Inc., an eBook development company, is proud to announce Namo PubTree Solution, their new software, which is compatible with ePUB3 industrial standards.
The Namo PubTree Solution is available in two different versions: one for consumers, and one for enterprises. The consumer version comes with Namo PubTree Editor (an authoring solution) and Namo PubTree Viewer (a dedicated eReader). The enterprise version includes Namo PubTree Platform (an eBook management and distribution solution), PubTree Editor, and PubTree Viewer.
Users can easily create an eBook with PubTree Editor’s variety of templates. Users simply drag and drop pre-loaded templates (eBooks, quizzes, formulas, galleries, posters, etc.) and upload their content, and the eBook is ready for publication. Namo PubTree Editor also offers an arsenal of eBook validation tools to make sure all eBooks will work properly once they are published.
SJ Namo, Inc. will be launching Namo PubTree Editor’s ESD (downloadable) version on their official web site; it also can be purchased from many online retailers. Namo PubTree Viewer will be available for free download on March 25 in Android’s Play Store and Apple’s App Store.
The industry and its market will keep evolving; the way people make and read books will continue evolving as well. The time to change is now, and Namo’s PubTree aims to make this change easier and smoother.
