Trunx, the all in one photo app that lets users snap, organize and share photos while instantaneously storing them safely in the cloud, has been named the ‘Official Photo Sharing App’ for IDG World Expo’s Macworld/iWorld 2014 conference. Attendees can download Trunx to immediately start capturing and sharing the action live from the Macworld/iWorld show floor, taking place at the Moscone Conference Center in San Francisco from March 27-29, 2014.

Trunx lets anyone capture photos, videos and Echopix™ (photos with sound) and seamlessly organize them into a beautiful timeline without touching a phone’s internal memory. Photos and videos are stored in an encrypted, password-protected vault in the cloud at their original resolution, yet accessible at any time. Users can also import photos from smartphones, desktops, hard drives, digital cameras, Facebook and Instagram, saving everything together in one secure place.

In addition, Trunx is launching SharedPix™ at Macworld/iWorld, enabling attendees to view and share pictures and videos privately with fellow Apple-product lovers. SharedPix™ albums can be easily created and shared only through an invitation link. Those invited can add new and existing photos and videos for the group to see, collaborating on memories together to fully experience the event in a new way. For added security, members can be removed and an album locked at any time.

“Our goal at Macworld/iWorld is to be at the forefront of innovation and showcase the very best products and services for the Apple product marketplace. Trunx embodies the simplicity, ease of use and just plain cool factor our attendees have come to expect,” said Paul Kent, General Manager of Macworld/iWorld. “We recommend attendees use Trunx to capture what makes our show unique and share those memories with other Apple-product enthusiasts in real-time.”

“We’re excited to be partnering with Macworld/iWorld to give Apple-product lovers a platform to experience the event in an entirely new way,” said Sandra Ponce de Leon, Vice President of Marketing at Trunx. “To that end, we built SharedPix™ to launch specifically at the conference so attendees can share pictures and videos privately with anyone they wish. This is just one of the many features that makes Trunx unique.”

Trunx is offering free storage for any photos and videos uploaded between now and April 30, 2014. The app is available for iOS and Android phones and devices. For more information, visit
