T-Shirt Fashion Trends: RAZRWING Gets Its Story Telling Wings With Augmented Reality Company Gravity Jack and Future Pay to Create New Apparel Direction
San Francisco and Brisbane, CA (PRWEB) March 25, 2014 -- The t-shirt fashion apparel world has long been waiting for a fresh evolution in design, style and storytelling and thanks to a new blend of technology, manufacturer RAZRWING has announced it will bring engaging, 3D experiences to clothing everywhere through a new, cutting-edge technology called augmented reality. The line is expected to launch this upcoming summer.
RAZRWING as announced it will achieve the feat, by hiring an industry pioneer in augmented reality to handle the technology-side. Gravity Jack, a custom software design and development agency, specializing in 3D gaming and mobile augmented reality will be the team commissioned for development of the software. In addition to the development side, Gravity Jack’s in-house research and development team also boasts an extensive library of patents in computer vision and augmented reality technology. With a comprehensive portfolio, including some of the biggest brands in the world, Gravity Jack brings the experience and creativity necessary to support such a big undertaking.
RAZRWING has also shed light on how consumers will be able to obtain products from the line, by announcing it will partner with Future Pay, a new secure and convenient payment method that provides users with "Buy Now, Pay Later" transactions, without the need for a credit card. This option will provide shoppers an easy, one-step checkout process, applied to their Future Pay tab.
With social media marketing campaigns launching this summer, consumers can expect the clothing to be available very soon. The shirts will merge the worlds of gaming and retail, in the form of AR story gaming t-shirts and jerseys.
RAZRWING is an eleven-year-old concept and seven year old company with deepened roots near San Francisco and the spawning grounds of the Silicon Valley region.
“The generation of ‘Gen WHY’ has begun,” says Gian Ruggeri, CEO & Director of Operations for RAZRWING. "It begins with the ‘how’ and enters into the why: Why will technology make a graphically good apparel design, a better apparel story? Why does RAZRWING feel that storytelling combined with gaming is a creative segment of the industrial waters that need to be explored? Why combine these two industries of gaming and apparel after all this time? Is storytelling the best way to do this?”
“Visuals have moved beyond pictures,” says Gian Ruggeri, CEO/Director of Operations for RAZRWING. “We feel in order for the apparel industry to expand and survive, storytelling (along with gaming) has to evolve on an interactive, psychological, atmospheric and emotional level that, until now, has yet to be explored.”
“With gracious help and artistic experience of Gravity Jack, we will be creating a sensory and visually lethal combination of interactive storytelling and gaming on the apparel platform. It will be a place where our customers can identify with the characters and encounters in stories that they defend and share. People will be sharing story ideas and strategic agendas with other players and customers,” he said.
“We are crafting through 3D modeling highly detailed artwork for the characters using the latest modeling technology, along with t-shirt transfer technology thorough Machine Washable Vinyl that will allow us to present images, characters, designs, and scenes in ways never before seen with the amount detail, texture, height and width.”
“T-shirt design has always been a leading indicator of style and expression, t-shirt apparel has become stale in terms of artwork and expression. While video games and movies are presenting vast amounts of details, stories and atmospheres, most apparel designers have 'forgot' or lost their way in capturing the imagination, quality and value today’s audiences are experiencing on other mediums."
RAZRWING feels there has always been a responsibility to bring back story and visual elements to t-shirt apparel design, while expanding upon what storytelling and atmospheric design on an apparel platform can be. They feel this is best achieved through developing new mediums in textile, vinyl, social networking devices, and augmented reality applications.
Using new vinyl technology from SISERNA and having them die cut through APEX embroidery allows for RAZRWING designs full use of texture, shading and backlighting that is not available on traditional silk screen, direct garment digital print, custom t-shirts The Vinyl material is incredibly durable, stretchy and machine washable.
RAZRWING product is currently available on THE RAZR SHOP, http://www.zazzle.com/metalbat, http://razrwing.spreadshirt.com/, http://www.3drose.com, Amazon, and The Roxy Underground at Hillsdale Mall, San Mateo, CA. The company is talking with several national retailers and mall stores about carrying their line.
“To help drive customers to retailers, we are encouraging our customers to sign up for The RAZRNEST GAMING COMMUNITY, "brandings" Gaming demonstrations and for customers, followers and players to participate in our Seasonal ranking system L A 1 R which they can rate comment or subscribe via Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or Our YoutubeChannel. With these points or RSKIN points, customers and players will be incentivized to use points to obtain products through their purchase points or Protect the story of their choosing SEEKER VICTIM SNATCH BURN by moving points to help other groups HUNTER PREY WIDOW MOTH who are part of the customer or players who are defending the same story yet part of different groups,” he said.
RAZRWING is tapping into the behavioral side of human emotions as a way to appeal to a broad base of customers on a deep, psychological level that cuts across their core demographic market because those emotions resonate in away people can associate with the storied themes.
Those emotional themes are aggression, obsession, seduction and attention represented by the stories: SEEKER, VICTIM, SNATCH and BURN.
“These images tap into the behavioral dark side. In an age when everything is visual yet not truly artistically complex we have to build every value from aesthetic visuals to over the top 3D modeling interaction to earn back the respect of the customer and build the confidence in the apparel consumer again,” he said.
“Story lines, Textile Tech., Vinyl, and Augmented Reality build on a new vast platform for a brand to jump curves and spin new concepts into existing markets and starting new markets as well,” he said.
“We now have again that something unique and different. We use the idea of dark humor or Dark Satire Storytelling, to appeal to that starving artistic and expressive audience which is now the perfect blend of online gamer and apparel enthusiasts,” he said.
"We are finally pushing the envelope on the creative restraints that have held the industry back,” Ruggeri said. “We will now visually and interactively appeal to apparel buyers and bring back value and creative fun to the markets."
