Not only will we have access to Hayes insight, reports, and supporting resources, we’ll also gain the expertise of a full-time, on-site Senior Clinical Analyst who will be the voice of evidence in our organization.

Hayes, Inc, a leader in promoting better health outcomes through the use of evidence, is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement to provide Memorial Hermann Physician Network (MHMD), and Memorial Herman Health System with research, clinical evidence analysis, and an on-site expert to support their clinical initiatives. The largest not-for-profit health system in Southeast Texas, Memorial Hermann has 12 hospitals and numerous specialty programs and services located throughout the Greater Houston area.

“The relationship between Memorial Hermann and Hayes will be unique,” explains Keith Fernandez, MD, MHMD President and Physician in Chief. “Not only will we have access to Hayes insight, reports, and supporting resources, we’ll also gain the expertise of a full-time, on-site Senior Clinical Analyst who will be the voice of evidence in our organization. This person will be a strategic member of our team who will work with physician-led committees to further our commitment to evidence-based practices that will lead to improved patient outcomes and sustainable savings within our health system.”

“Memorial Hermann has embraced the triple aim of healthcare reform and we are thrilled to be working with them to transform healthcare delivery in Texas,” says Dee Donatelli, RN, BSN, MBA, Sr. Vice President, Provider Services at Hayes Inc. “This partnership is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to collaborate with a world-class health system to effect the change that is so desperately needed in healthcare today.”

As part of the agreement, Hayes also will create white papers and guidance documents on issues, research projects, or clinical solutions developed by Memorial Hermann that could be submitted for publication in peer-reviewed publications.

“We expect this research support to increase committee productivity, speed project completion, and give Memorial Hermann a significant clinical and financial return on investment,” says Ms. Donatelli.
